TLC has developed specialized Camps and Classes dedicated to enhancing the quality of extra-curricular programming available to our clients and their families. These camps are created and led by TLC’s team of licensed speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists, and often supported by therapists in training (interns).
Given our years of experience with the neurodivergent community and myriad physical and communicative disorders, these camps and classes are designed with skill and knowledge of how to make a successful experience for those who often struggle in group activities. Our camps and classes are always in small-group format, with accommodations made as needed to further participants’ success.
Camps are usually 1 - 1.5 hours in length, except the School Readiness Camp, which is 20 hours across two weeks (2.5 hours per day). Classes are often 4-6 weeks in length, and focus more on building a specific skill set.

This two-week camp is offered to children who need a bit more practice in a small-group setting before successfully joining their Kindergarten or Transitional Kindergarten (TK) class in the fall.

A client favorite, this camp takes place outside during good weather. It consists of structured activities, including obstacle courses and water games, to work gross motor, sensory, executive function and social skills.

TLC's Counselor has developed a Coping Class and also teaches the evidence-based "Mind Up" curriculum; these classes deep-dive into emotions, brain science and mindfulness over the course of six weeks.

TLC's most popular camp is Scientific Minds, where we participate in a variety of fun-filled STEAM activities for 1.5 hours. Experiments have included volcanos, bottle rockets, unpoppable bubbles, and more!
